British Association of Dental Therapists Conference

Friday 28th September saw the tour rock up at the British Association of Dental Therapists (BADT) Conference held in the opulent surroundings of the Oxford Belfry Hotel.

Over 150 delegates from all over the UK attended a packed program of lectures and also to welcome into office the new association President Elect Debbie McGovern. We showcased a selection of scrubs from our 1st Choice, Cherokee and Dickies brands, including the ever popular and extremely comfortable Xtreme Stretch range.

British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy meeting

Saturday 29th September saw the UK tour arrive at the beautiful tranquil location of Bewl Water near Tunbridge Wells in Kent for the South East regional British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy (BSDHT) meeting. The keynote speaker was our old friend Deepak Simkhada who again captivated his audience with an excellent presentation littered with personal anecdotes and humour.

British Dental Industry Association Dental Showcase – Dress to Drill!

The tour arrives at ExCel in the London Docklands this week (Thursday 4th – Saturday 6th October) for the BDIA Dental Showcase event. Come and see us on stand I 10 where Steve, Judy and Jade will all be on hand to help you Dress to Drill! We hope to see you there.

As Office Manager at AWB Textiles, I play a key role in ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the business. I work closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues to deliver a seamless service from order to delivery. My responsibilities span customer service, supplier liaison, stock management and operational support, all focused on maintaining the high standards our customers expect.I’m passionate about our scrub line — not just as a product, but as something we can truly be proud to offer. Quality, comfort and choice are at the heart of everything we do, and I take real pride in making sure medical professionals, from hospitals to dental practices, receive the workwear they can rely on every day.Outside of work, I am an avid follower of a wide range of sports, with a particular interest in Formula 1 and football. I have a longstanding passion for cars and enjoy attending automotive events and shows, both locally and further afield, whenever possible.
