Galaxy Scrubs Care Guide
AWB scrubs are designed and independently tested to cope with the rigours of modern healthcare practice and industrial laundering and are compliant with EN14065 and decontamination standard HTM-01-05
AWB support washing by commercial laundry wherever possible as this is the most effective way of cleaning and disinfecting your uniform after use.
However, we understand that this is not always possible and therefore washing your uniform at home maybe the only option available to you.
To keep your Galaxy scrubs in top condition, follow these care tips:
- Use a long wash cycle on your washing machine when laundering your uniform. Short cycles are more likely to underperform.
- A high temperature kills bacteria, so wash your uniform at least 60°C or 70°C if possible as domestic washing machines occasionally do not quite meet the temperature stated.
- Wash your uniform separately from any other clothing to avoid the possibility of cross contamination.
- Do not bleach the uniform.
- Tumble drying is possible at normal temperature, high temperature not recommended.
- Iron at maximum sole plate temperature of 150°C.
- Do not dry clean.
