Dickies Women's Boot Cut Trousers

What makes the best care home uniform? It’s a question we’re often asked here at AWB Textiles, and something we have considerable experience in.

In our blog on the positive aspects of care home uniforms, we outlined the following points:

Why wear a uniform in a care home?

Nowadays there is a huge choice of care uniforms available to staff, enabling them to look stylish and feel comfortable at work without the starched, clinical look sometimes associated with a care home environment.

This communicates a more professional image and makes identification of care staff easier. With the latter point it is easy to use colour to identify each carer’s specialism (such as a dementia specialist) and/or level of seniority.

Uniforms also send a positive message about good infection control; while care clothing colours will often have a positive effect on residents. Having staff in bright uniforms only contributes positively to this.

Our best care home uniform

Easily our bestselling care home uniform is based around the Dickies Ladies mock wrap scrub top
